Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

Avanta LLC, doing business as Avanta Pharma Group ("Avanta," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal and health-related information with a high standard of care. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you hold over your data. By using our website (the "Site"), you consent to the practices described herein.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information:

Standard Personal Data

Information you voluntarily provide when using our Site, including but not limited to your full name, clinic or practice name, professional email address, telephone number, IP address, browser type, and device information. This data is collected through our contact and scheduling forms.

Sensitive Health Data

When engaging with our prescription and ordering services, we may collect protected health information ("PHI") and sensitive health data, which may include body mass index (BMI), relevant medical history, current medications, known allergies, and prescription records. This data is collected exclusively through secure, compliant channels and is treated with heightened protection under applicable law, including HIPAA where applicable.

Please do not submit patient-identifiable health information through general inquiry forms on this Site. Prescription and clinical intake information must only be transmitted through our designated secure prescription intake process.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To evaluate treatment eligibility, fulfill prescriptions, and coordinate with contracted pharmacy partners and licensed prescribers on your behalf.
  • Communication: To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations with our licensed Pharmacist Specialist team, and provide updates regarding your orders or account.
  • Compliance & Safety: To verify prescriptions, maintain required pharmaceutical records, and comply with applicable federal and state regulations including DEA, FDA, and the applicable state Board of Pharmacy requirements in the states where it is licensed.
  • Site Improvement: To analyze aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns in order to improve the functionality and content of the Site.

We do not use your personal or health data for targeted advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the services you have requested.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information to third-party marketers under any circumstances. We may share your information only with the following categories of trusted parties, and only to the extent necessary to provide our services:

  • Licensed Healthcare Providers & Prescribers: Physicians and nurse practitioners involved in evaluating or authorizing your treatment.
  • Dispensing Pharmacy Partners: Licensed, accredited compounding pharmacies responsible for preparing and dispensing your medication.
  • Secure Payment Processors: PCI-DSS compliant payment platforms used to process transactions. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
  • Technology & Infrastructure Providers: Vetted vendors who host, maintain, or secure our systems under binding confidentiality and data processing agreements.
  • Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Where disclosure is required by law, court order, or regulatory mandate.

4. Data Security

We implement a comprehensive set of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is protected by industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption.
  • Secure Servers: Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade, access-controlled servers with regular security audits and automated threat monitoring.
  • Access Controls: Access to medical records and sensitive health data is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis and is subject to authentication requirements.
  • Data Minimization: We collect only the information necessary for the specific purpose for which it was requested.

While we employ commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to take precautions when sharing sensitive information online.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations under pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations.
  • Right to Restriction: Request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability: Where applicable, request that your data be provided in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 8. We will respond to verified requests within thirty (30) days. Note that certain requests may be subject to limitations where retention is required by law (e.g., prescription records under applicable state pharmacy act requirements in the states where it is licensed).

6. GDPR & International Data Transfers

Our services are primarily directed at licensed healthcare providers in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using this Site, you consent to such transfer. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to support essential Site functionality and, where permitted, to gather aggregate analytics data. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or track your activity across third-party websites. You may control or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
