Company Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Avanta LLC, doing business as Avanta Pharma Group ("Avanta," "we," "us," or "our"), maintains this Company Policy to set out the standards, principles, and commitments that govern how we operate as a multi-state pharmacy supply partner. It describes our role, who we serve, the compliance framework we work within, and what providers and clinics can expect when they work with us. This Company Policy operates alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Role and Operating Model
Avanta is a pharmacy supply partner, not a pharmacy. We connect licensed healthcare providers and clinics with patient-specific compounded medications. Compounding is performed by a licensed 503a pharmacy operating under the oversight of its state board of pharmacy. We coordinate sourcing, ordering, logistics, and provider support; we do not compound, dispense, or practice pharmacy ourselves.
2. Who We Serve
We work exclusively with licensed healthcare providers, clinics, and authorized institutional accounts. We do not market, sell, or supply prescription medications to the general public. Establishing an account may require verification of professional licensure and credentials, and we reserve the right to decline or discontinue service where those requirements are not met.
3. Prescriptions and Lawful Use
All compounded medications are supplied pursuant to a valid prescription issued by an appropriately licensed prescriber for an identified patient, in accordance with applicable federal and state law. We supply only where permitted by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction and where our partner pharmacy is licensed to operate. Orders that do not meet these requirements will not be fulfilled.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Standards
We operate in accordance with applicable federal and state requirements, including those administered by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) where applicable, and the relevant state Boards of Pharmacy. Compounded medications are prepared for an individual patient pursuant to a valid prescription and are not FDA-approved products. We maintain records as required by applicable law and cooperate with lawful regulatory oversight.
5. Quality and Partner Pharmacy Standards
Compounding is carried out by our partner 503a pharmacy in accordance with applicable United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards for sterile and non-sterile preparations. We select partner pharmacies on the basis of their licensure, quality systems, and documented processes, and we expect every partner in our network to uphold these standards consistently.
6. Sourcing and Supply Chain Integrity
We work to maintain a reliable and transparent supply chain. Ingredients and finished preparations are sourced through licensed, vetted channels. We do not knowingly source from, or supply to, any party engaged in the diversion or unlawful distribution of medications.
7. Pricing and Transparency
We provide clear, introductory provider pricing and aim to communicate costs transparently before an order is placed. Pricing may vary based on formulation, order volume, and applicable regulatory or shipping requirements. We do not impose undisclosed fees.
8. Ordering, Shipping, and Handling
Orders are placed through our designated provider channels. Medications are packaged and shipped using methods appropriate to the product, including temperature-controlled handling where required, to preserve integrity in transit. Delivery timelines may vary by destination and product, and shipping is limited to the states we serve.
9. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Because compounded medications are prepared for a specific patient, they generally cannot be returned or resold once dispatched, except where a product arrives damaged, defective, or sent in error. In those cases, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy. Cancellation of an order may be possible before preparation begins.
10. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We treat personal and health-related information with a high standard of care and handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including HIPAA where applicable. Access to sensitive information is restricted on a need-to-know basis.
11. Professional Conduct and Non-Discrimination
We are committed to honest, respectful, and professional dealing with every provider, partner, and patient we serve. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Company Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our network, or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
